Winter is a female chocobo from Blackmoon Prophecy II. It is Zephyr's pet and the only family he has left after the death of his sister, Ezra.

Winter is a blue-eyed, normal-sized chocobo covered with white feathers.
Personality[]
Despite being a chocobo, Winter shows some form of personality, like having affection for others and playing with people. She has a fondness for Ezra.
Story[]
Early life[]
One day Ezra and Zephyr went to a forest and she went off finding an abandoned white chocobo chick with whom she grows affectionate very quickly. When Zephyr arrives, she insists on taking the chocobo with them despite her brother's protest, but she ends up taking the chocobo with her.
After Ezra dies at Darnecles Castle after being deployed there to protect it from Beronian rebels, Zephyr hides the fact away from Winter fearing that the chocobo would feel depressed and he would loose the only family left after his sister.
Blackmoon Prophecy II[]
Creation and development[]
In one of the story concepts for Blackmoon Prophecy II, "The New Generation", UPRC designed a playable chocobo named "Pastel". After the plot was reformed, Pastel become Winter and the main mode of transportation in the game.[1]
Etymology[]
Winter is named after one of the four seasons, winter, during which regions affected with it are covered with snow. The choice of the name refers to her white feathers.
