Nabaat and her group of PSICOM soldiers encounter Sazh Katzroy and his unconscious son Dajh in the Euride Gorge after an attack on its fal'Cie and sends the two to Eden to discuss the boy's condition. The boy is discovered to be branded a Sanctum l'Cie and Nabaat orders Dajh to be put under PSICOM supervision in hopes of determing his Focus. When the investigation team confirms a presence of a Pulse fal'Cie the town is put in lockdown. Nabaat returns to Eden with Katzroys with the intention of developing and using Dajh's powers for the safety of Cocoon, this time the PSICOM supervision extended for undetermined time. She grants Sazh's final request of him travelling to Palumpolum to buy a gift for his son, unaware of the man's true intentions.
